Australian $50 note
The $50 paper banknote features Lord Howard Walter Florey, who shared the 1945 Nobel Prize for physiology and medicine for the discovery of penicillin; and Sir Ian Clunies Ross, a veterinary scientist who became chairman of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.
