Defence Medal 1939–45

A circular silver medal, with the face of King George the 6th on one side and on the other an emblem incorporating two lions, a crown and an acorn tree. The medal is inscribed ‘1939 1945 The Defence Medal’ and is held by a red, white and blue ribbon.
