Ron Muncaster is a well-known costume designer and remains one of the most successful within the context of Mardi Gras. He has made a significant contribution to the Mardi Gras event by participating every year in the costume competition. Muncaster has been awarded more prizes for his costumes than any other designer in the history of the competition. This costume was made for and worn by Mr Muncaster's late partner, Jacques Straetmans.
