Lake Condah Aboriginal Mission, Victoria

Lake Condah Mission was opened in 1867. It was located close to the traditional lands of the Gunditjmara. By the 1880s more than 70 Gunditjmara people were living there.

The mission closed in 1918, but Gunditjmara people stayed there until 1939. The mission lands were returned to the Gunditjmara in 1987.
