Land Rights by Eunice Yunurupa Porter

In June 2005 the Australian Federal Court came to recognise the exclusive right of the Ngaanyatjarra people to some 180,000 square kilometres of land between the Great Victoria Desert and the Gibson Desert. This painting depicts the celebrations surrounding the signing held at Puntjilpi, an outstation near Mantamaru.
