Sister Maurus Tierney, serving food to unemployed men during the Great Depression
During the depression years, many people became unemployed and homeless. Sister Maurus Tierney served meals to unemployed men in Tusculum Lane at the back of the Mother House, St Vincent' Convent, Sydney. The food was donated by local businesses.
