Map showing movements of the ‘Black Line’, 1831
The map is titled: ‘Field plan of movements of the military. No. 9, Military operations against the aboriginal inhabitants of Van Diemen's Land G. Frankland, surveyor general’.
It shows the movements of colonists, led by military officers, as they formed a human chain and attempted to corral Aboriginal people on the Tasman Peninsula.
