Photo collage by Peter Dawson to promote the 1868 Aboriginal cricket team tour

A timber-framed montage of photographs of the cricket team selected to tour England in 1868. The touring cricket team of 1868 comprised thirteen Aboriginal players captained by the ex-English player Charles Lawrence. The team performed well on the long and arduous tour, winning 14 and drawing 19 of the 47 games they played. Despite this success, however, only two of the team were to play representative cricket on their return, and then only briefly.
