Piece of shrapnel or bomb fragment from a bomb dropped on Darwin, 1942

Large, linear, piece of rusty brown jagged steel shrapnel from an Imperial Japanese Forces bomb. The bomb was dropped by an Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft, and destroyed the Post and Telegraphic Office on 19 February 1942.
