Soldier bathing, Gallipoli, 1915
An unidentified Australian soldier has his monthly bath in a pint of water while another looks on. The shortage of water made personal cleanliness very difficult on the Gallipoli Peninsula, especially for those men who could not get down to the beach to bathe.
