Learning module:
Migration experiences Defining Moments, 1945–present
Bringing it together
2. Create a museum display
Imagine that you have been asked by the National Museum of Australia to select six objects for a digital exhibition covering key aspects of the story of postwar immigration to Australia.
You should select objects that illustrate the stories effectively. It is important that you research and write captions for each, and explain why you have chosen each object.
Use the National Museum of Australia’s Collection Explorer to search for potential objects, or you can suggest objects from other sources that you believe would be effective in telling the story.
