Kodj axe

This kodj axe was made by Larry Blight, a member of the Minang community, in 2012. It is a traditional tool made only by the Noongar peoples of the south-west corner of Western Australia. The knowledge, materials and techniques used to make kodj are unique to this region. One side is used for cutting and scraping, the other for hammering and pounding.
