Yango Mungo Y'eyango, by John Lewin, 1815

In 1815, free settler and artist John Lewin travelled with New South Wales Governor Lachlan Macquarie across the Blue Mountains, to establish the inland town of Bathurst. Lewin probably came into contact with Wiradjuri man Yango Mungo Y’eyango on that journey.
